RE: Rodgers & Hammerstein Festival
I NEED YOUR HELP! I have heard such great things about the music students at your school that I thought who better to contact than you to help with an amazing project. The Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce wants to recreate the hey day of the Broadway musical and celebrate the lives of the great American songwriting duo Rodgers & Hammerstein. The tricky part is that you need to create that 1950s New York City vibe in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the summer of 2008. This ambitious project requires that a team of your students each produce one of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals at one of the five theatres downtown, the Guthrie, Orpheum, State, Pantages, or Shubert theatres. In order to accomplish this, you will need to learn as much as you can about this great American songwriting duo, their musicals, and our downtown theatres. Please help if you can. We really need your expertise!
So there you have it. He really needs your help. Proceed to the TASK for a detailed explanation of what this project entails
